Long before owning the company, David Athas started as a groundie—dragging brush, picking up sticks, and learning the trade from the ground up. Brush, log, and tree-debris hauling for properties in Hancock and Waldo Counties and surrounding Downeast Maine. We can remove material left from tree work or other approved cleanup projects. Hazard work is priced after an onsite review of tree condition, access, rigging, equipment, and cleanup needs. Keep people and pets away from an actively failing tree. For trees that cannot be safely felled from the ground, Altitude Arborists provides controlled climbing and rigging to dismantle the tree in sections. This starting service leaves logs and brush neatly arranged onsite unless hauling, chipping, or stump grinding is added. Final pricing depends on tree size, condition, access, targets below, and cleanup choices.
Custom planning and removal for multiple hazardous trees or complex sites involving power lines, structures, septic systems, wells, tight access, or other obstacles. Every project receives an onsite safety assessment and written estimate covering equipment, rigging, debris handling, and scheduling. Pricing is custom based on scope and site conditions.
Mobile firewood processing at your property. We cut suitable logs to firewood length, split them onsite, and stack them in an agreed location. This service is billed by the hour, with final time and cost based on log size, quantity, access, and stacking distance. The prices stated above represent baseline rates and are minimum charges or starting prices for the services described. All services require a non‑refundable deposit equal to one half of the total estimated cost, payable prior to commencement of work. The remaining balance shall be paid in full on the day services are performed. Client payment methods and transaction timing must be confirmed and cleared before work begins to ensure funds are available. This payment policy is instituted in response to prior incidents involving insufficient funds and returned checks and is intended to protect both parties.
